A Day for FIRSTs

Woke up to beautiful blue skiies this morning. A little on the cool side (15)

Jordan's first time trying wake boarding ... HE DID IT!!! After a few tries, getting a feel of the pull and balance - he did it!! We are so proud of him that he didn't give up. He had a BLAST!!

Enjoy the video of Jordan getting up Wake Boarding :O)

A nice man out boating stopped in to say "HI"

After play comes some work.

Another couple of "Firsts" was both the kids learned today to drive the big boat. Jordan already knew how to drive the smaller boat. And takes that boat out many times. (Thanks Andy) Today they both drove the bigger boat and had fun. So that is a first for Jordan and a First for Jaci.

Perfect weather day. Wind, and sun and just enough clouds (We welcome the clouds on the really sunny days)
Fun day!!

cool and VERY windy day

Woke up this morning to sun... but it was cool and very windy. Clouds came over us for most of the day and it stayed cool.

Oma and Opa couldn't take the cold anymore ... I think since hearing how HOT it was back home --- they packed up and left at 5pm. :( sad to see them go. We are staying. Tomorrow should shape up to be a better weather day.
Below are pictures of the kids last night with their sparklers.

Great Sunny day and we have visitors

Shortly after breakfast Jordan developed the bad case of the hicops!! So he was told to do a hand stand and drink water from a cup... he tried - and he was cured!! :)

Oma and Opa joined us today ... they are planning to stay for a few days. As you can see they are good at relaxing too

Jordan tried some water skiing today too. Up first try and had a great time.

We ended off the day with a nice fire and saw some fire works across the lake. J&J also did some sparklers of their own...but the bugs got to bad - so we headed indoors. Inside we watched a great fireworks display from the comfy, bug biting free cottage. The fireworks were so big that we think they must have come from downtown Parry Sound... they were great.

Happy Canada Day everyone!!
